This unisex leather pōtae is made with geniune leather embossed with a unique Māori design at 61cm in size. This pōtae features a draw string for ease of taking off to hang around your neck or if you prefer the secure support of the drawstring under your chin whilst wearing your pōtae, you can comfortably adjust the drawstring to suit your comfort. The leather is double stitched and all pōtae come with a protector bag to protect your pōtae while you are not wearing it.

Bent brim

The hat arrived with the brim all bent up and out of shape. It did not arrive flat as the photo on the site showed.

I have tried flattening the brim with books but it doesn't work.

Beautiful Leather Potae

Aroha mai whānau for my late review of this gorgeous Leather Potae that I purchased as a gift for someone worthy in my whānau.

However, I've yet to share how much my whanaunga love it because he hasn't received it, all my fault, cos I didn't send it to him in NZ until yesterday cos I kept forgetting it and when he does, I will be sure to let you know but I'm sure he will love it.

Awesome hat love it and all but it just sits weird on my head , and they way that the string part is set up is a bit weird to me my all in all love it oh and it also came squished up , any hacks to put it back to shape ?

Beautiful!!! Authentic!! I love the mongopare patterns, they're absolutely stunning on the pōtae and the kākahu!! I bought the pōtae for my dad's 70th and he absolutely loves it!! Thank you!!
