Love the bag still not sure on the strap

Bought this loving the design of the bag. I assumed because the black and cream bags have a leather strap the brown would also come with one, but it arrived with a material bronze strap.
Still can’t figure out if I love the slight difference and shine of the bronze strap, or whether I would have preferred a leather one. Either way, hoping the strap will last longer as leather ones tend to crack and wear faster. Apart from that absolutely LOVE this and also found it bigger than I expected so fits heaps!!
